Still Corners

BEAUTIFUL – that dreamy voice and those videos...

I don’t follow music half as much as I used to, but luckily I have great friends who are in the music business or just otherwise music-obsessive to keep me at least a bit up-to-date. This time I got into this band called Still Corners by a recommendation from my dear friend David (who just so happens to also be a DJ & a club arranger). Thank You David, X.

Marimekko – Off to the Woods

My Tuesday morning started in beautiful settings. I had come to Katajanokka to an old warehouse building by the sea to view Marimekko’s newest autumn/winter 2012 interior decoration collection. I was drinking a cup of coffee sitting “in a forest” on a wooden log,  picking up a sandwich from picnic style basket while enjoying the atmosphere; printed fabrics hanging high from the ceiling, crockery scattered around, beautiful  lamps illuminating the darkness and bed linen in voluminous formations. What a perfect place it was to unwind before a busy day ahead!
